I’m with Sarah. CBD from hemp, although very similar to marijuana is NOT the same people. I understand everyone’s concern about THC. But just like alcohol, not everyone should use it. That should be illegal too right? It actually DOES cause birth defects and because of recklessness, death. But guess what, it’s there whether you like it or not Lorrie and Elaine. CBD in hemp is primarily for medicinal use and has done soooo much good. Don’t believe me? Look it up! The stigma about CBD will end when people stop judging the plant and actually do some research. Hemp helps all walks of life in so many ways. From adults to children to pets. Learn to appreciate it a lil more ladies. “OUR” country can def benefit from it.

  • Avatar Sarah says:

Elaine, what you learned in the 60’s & 70’s was actually propaganda. The prohibitionist for marijuana spread misinformation on purpose to scare people into demonizing the magical plant. How did prohibition work for alcohol? Now that is a substance that actually can cause a lot of birth defects and other things that you talk about, and there are actual scientific studies to prove it. Why are you so against marijuana and so silent about alcohol?

  • Avatar Lorrie Sardinia says:

Elaine Harwood, I agree with you 100%. Marijana is especially bad for a growing brain. Bad stuff!! The fact that it is becoming legal all over OUR country, worries me, deeply. Scary.

I studied in my health classes in the late 60’s and early 70’s the dangers of Marijana. It not only causes a person to go out of reality but also affects their genetics and causes birth defects. Also, causes lack of motivation. If taken when growing up will cause terrible damage to one’s brain. Many crimes have happened when a person is under the influence.
    Therefore, it or its derrivatives
    should continue to be outlawed.
Government’s job is to protect life.

You should adjust this article. Hemp seed oil and CBD oil are very different. Hemp seed oil does not do the things you claimed re pain relief. It can, however, be a quality and worthwhile product. You should also note the cowboy element of the CBD industry. In short, CBD oils vary dramatically. What is in it, how it’s made, the parts used, the dose, process for extraction, testing and where sourced are all things to consider.

  • Avatar Christina says:

I feel confused. I was under the impression from other sources that hemp seed oil comes from the seeds only and contain a very, very small amount of CBD (25ppm) which is basically nothing and no TCH?
